Bharathidasan University

Bharathidasan University established in February 1982 was named after the great revolutionary Tamil Poet, Bharathidasan (1891-1964) by the government of Tamil Nadu. This University was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 1985. It is a member of the Association of Indian universities and re-accredited by NAAC at ‘A’ level among the universities.
